About Us
Welcome to 9th Street Pub — La Salle's home away from home since 1977. Founded by brothers with a love for great food and good company, our pub has become a cornerstone of the Illinois Valley community. Owner John E., trained by the esteemed Swiss Chef Victor Andres, brings culinary excellence to every dish we serve — all at prices that keep you coming back.
Food Menu
From hand-breaded starters like Bang Bang Pickles and Buffalo Mushrooms to signature Pub Burgers, hearty Handhelds, and classic Breakfast plates — our kitchen has something for everyone. Highlights include the Cheeseburger in Paradise, Smoked Brisket, Classic Reuben, and a rotating lineup of daily specials. Sunday Brunch available. All burgers served with chips.

Kick off your meal with crowd favorites: Wings for just $1.50 (BBQ, buffalo, garlic parm, or sriracha), Cheese Sticks, Fully Loaded Nachos with house-made chips, Jumbo Pretzels with cheese sauce, Bang Bang Pickles, and more. Perfect for sharing at the table or watching the game.
Pub Burgers
Our signature burgers are built to satisfy. Try the Cheeseburger in Paradise — American, Swiss, bacon, grilled onion, avocado & sprouts — or the Blue Moon with bleu cheese crumbles and grilled mushrooms. All burgers served with chips; upgrade to steak fries for just $2.
Beer & Wine
We've got your drink covered. Choose from a full lineup of domestic favorites like Miller, Bud Light, Coors, and Old Style, plus imported and craft beers including Heineken, Guinness, Modelo, Two Hearted IPA, and Lagunitas. Seltzers, RTDs, ciders, and wine also available. If you've heard of it, there's a good chance we have it!
